Father-Son Campout

Our stake had their annual Father-Son campout last friday night. Joshua hasn't taken the boys in 5 years, either because of bad weather or being out of town. He's not too fond of camping and was glad for the excuses the last few years, but since he didn't didn't have a good one this year, I told him he should go since Alex and Logan have never been. I think I convinced him when I told him that the campout wasn't for him, it was for the boys to have the experience and the memories. So, much to his chagrin, he took all three boys. None of them got very much sleep, and it was a little cold that night, but they had fun.

Logan especially was looking forward to it all week. He went with me to the store to buy camping supplies and food on Thursday and told everyone that we passed in the aisle. So cute! I hope it was worth his anticipation.

Jessica and I had a fun night too. We had a girl's night pizza and movie party at the Larsen's house and didn't get home until 1:00 am. We had a great time!
